Before you light it

• Trim the wick to around 5mm before each burn – this helps the flame stay steady and the candle last longer.

• Place your candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from anything flammable.

• Keep it out of reach of children and pets – curious paws and flames don’t mix!

While it’s burning

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. It’s tempting to leave the room, but please don’t!

• Let the wax melt to the edges on the first burn – this helps prevent tunnelling.

• Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time to keep the glass and wax in top shape.

• Keep away from drafts or open windows – they can make the flame flicker or burn unevenly.

Storing your candle

• Keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight (it helps preserve the scent and colour).

• Pop the lid back on when not in use – your candle will stay fresh longer!
